inthedock_photoIn the Dock Apologetics exists to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by providing a comprehensive apologetics ministry headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

The apostle Peter in 1 Peter 3:15 instructs,

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

The apostle Paul in Acts 20:28:31 instructs Christians to,

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard!

Paul also stresses in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 that Christians should, aboutphoto

Paul also implores the Church in Titus 2:1,

You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.

IDA will also defend the faith from those outside the faith who seek to attack the tenets and truth claims of Christianity. IDA will firmly defend the Christian faith, while always seeking to accomplish this task with gentleness, respect, and in a manner that glorifies Christ. Such teaching and defense of the Christian faith will be accomplished via IDA research and writing as well as engaging in speaking, teaching, and debate opportunities in various settings.

IDA’s desire is teach all belivers that Christianity is not a blind faith, but one which requires the engagement of the mind in a manner that promotes clear and logical thinking leading the believer to understand Christianity’s truth, develop the ability to analyze all teachings and claims made about it and in its name, and to defend its truth
